Busan #3 was one of many alleys we walked in Gamcheon Culture Village. There were cute sign boards and wall arts in this village, but I liked the red sign that said ‘Lucky Girl’. I illustrated this piece in hopes for any girl with this piece to have a little luck.

Korea- Busan 1-5

I traveled to Busan with my parents in 2017. When I came back, I made a series of art from this trip and named the series ‘In Memory’. The art illustrates the views we saw together, the alleys we walked, and the tables we sat at.

This series is meaningful to me as I wanted to create something that would leave some pieces from my memory, like a journal. So when I see these pieces again, in addition to the time spent in this city, I also remember the times I spent drawing the pieces.
