Busan 5
I drew Busan #5 to emphasize the whole crowded aesthetic of the buildings and pathways the villagers might walk everyday. As we walked around the whole village, I found the tightness and roughness of the village rather warm and comforting.
Korea- Busan 1-5
I traveled to Busan with my parents in 2017. When I came back, I made a series of art from this trip and named the series ‘In Memory’. The art illustrates the views we saw together, the alleys we walked, and the tables we sat at.
This series is meaningful to me as I wanted to create something that would leave some pieces from my memory, like a journal. So when I see these pieces again, in addition to the time spent in this city, I also remember the times I spent drawing the pieces.
